Filled with art, antiques and collected treasures from around the world, this private hideaway is 3.7 miles from PBI, 2.5 miles from the nearest beach, 2 blocks from a stroll along the intercoastal, and steps away from a deliciously private backyard with heated saltwater pool. This attractive 3 bedroom/2.5 bathroom home is situated on a large lush lot with privacy hedge for enjoying the pool, outdoor shower and covered patio. The patio, where you'll spend most of your time, is a place of pure peace, even in the rain, and there is a gas grill available for sunny day bbqs. Your booking comes with orchids and tropical leaves throughout the house and outdoor patio. The bar is stocked with ingredients for the house cocktail (instructions in the House Manual) and the fridge and kitchen are stocked with every imaginable necessity. We are near all the great restaurants along Dixie and in town, and a short drive to those in Palm Beach and Lake Worth.
A bit about the property: this is a classic 2/1.5, with a full bathroom in between the master and guest room, and a cabana (half bath) off the kitchen. The Shed, which is separate from the house, has an antique 4 poster bed, a toilet and a sink inside the room, and a completely private outdoor shower just steps off the patio.
My sweet outdoor kitty, Simba, now spends most of his time at the neighbor’s but i still ask that guests put kibble out for him in the event that he comes by for a nibble (kibble provided under the kitchwn sink) Simba is docile and vaccinated, dog-curious and beloved by much of the neighborhood. He comes periodically throughout the day for a nibble, but otherwise is not around much and very low maintenance. People who come with dogs report that they don’t see much of him.

Summary: This house was better in person, if you can imagine. Not only was the home a thing of artful beauty, it was comfortable and homey. Mimi was very accommodating and easily accessible. The neighborhood was nice and close to restaurants and shopping. I would recommend this house to anybody. It’s lovely.

Summary: The property feels like home and was so comfortable. Everything you could need is there and it is very close to beaches and good food options. The pool was great to relax in, the yard is very private and feels like your own tropical garden. It couldn’t have been more hassle free from check in to check out!

Summary: If you are looking for a charming place with a welcoming feel, this comfortably and creatively furnished home is for you. The large salt water pool is deliciously warm and the nicely landscaped backyard with colorful hedges of bougainvillea and orchids provide privacy and a cheerful ambience. The kitchen and bar are well stocked with items to minimize extra purchases while traveling. Mimi is a responsive host and the neighborhood is quiet, low key and walkable to the Winn Dixie. I decided not to rent a car and was happy staying put. It was easy getting a car into town for a night out, boat show, museum or the beach. West Palm Beach airport is 15 minutes away.

Summary: Absolutely loved Mimi’s stunning hideaway for the Christmas to New Years holiday. Stayed with three friends and had ample room between the two bedrooms in-house and the pool house. Gorgeous pool and landscape, as we spent most time in the backyard, even though weather was cool. Easy Uber rides when we wanted to explore, with well stocked cabinets when we wanted to stay in. A fabulous new years holiday, would definitely return! Mimi was very responsive and I appreciated her welcome book full of tips, also highlighting her art work. Well done and felt like a special week away.

Summary: This place is everything it says it is, and more. We immediately felt at home the moment we arrived and that feeling never changed throughout our stay. The house was very clean and comfortable, the yard has multiple quaint spaces for hangouts, and we loved the pool. We also loved the wonderful artwork - the owner has a creative flair and a knack for interior decorating. We always felt safe at night and could easily access anything we needed. Short drives to quiet beaches and opportunties for exploring the area and day trips kept us occupied, but we liked having our calm refuge to return to after excursions. Mimi could not have been more helpful and is an excellent communicator. Lots of extra details and info made us feel welcomed at all times. We would not hesitate to book again!

Summary: From the moment that I arrived, I knew it was a very special place. Not only was the location incredible with an abundance of restaurants, galleries, shopping and beaches nearby but the property itself was like an oasis. Quiet, calming and serene with only the sound of palms in the breeze, beautiful birds, and the refreshing saltwater pool. The decor and artwork were fascinating as the owner is a world traveler with many unique finds on her travels. The beds were heavenly, and the kitchen had everything for any type of meal or occasion including outdoor and indoor seating for 6+ guests. To top it.off, there's a beautiful private cottage with outdoor porch and massive shower. Of all the properties that I've ever stayed on my travels, this private higeaway is #1 on my list!! Thanks to the Premier Host for a homerun!!
